Dean and I have been trying to beat the heat, but we can’t seem to get away from it! I am sure once winter comes I’ll regret saying that. It has been a pretty great summer so far. We’ve traveled to Pittsburgh several times, and the food gets better and better. Dean played his first show at the Smiling Moose in downtown Pittsburgh. It was a rockin’ show besides getting towed, but we won’t get into that (eye roll, eye roll, eye roll).  We had a weekend trip in Davis, West Virginia with family. A weekend in the woods with loved ones is all you really need. Also, wherever my baby nephew goes, I go. Because who doesn’t love babies? With the intense sun comes an intense craving for Mexican food and margaritas. I am pretty terrible at the diet thing. I want to look ‘smokin’ in my wedding dress, but I am living in moment a bit too much this summer for any real discipline. Isn’t every body a bridal body any way? We are wrapping up our wedding plans, and it is becoming more and more real each passing day. I can’t way to marry this guy. He is a good one, and I can ramble on, but I won’t this time!
